I really love this palette but it does come with a learning curve. Yes, the matte shades can be a little powdery, but I don't go digging into my palettes anyway. I'm always very gentle with them. The shimmer shades through the middle are nice and apply well. If using a brush, then spray your brush. I just use my finger. The two shimmer shades on the outside rows to me are more of a shadow topper. I dab Main Squeeze over Lemonade Craze and conversely use Citrus over Coral Punch. Gives a nice effect. Now when applying these matte colors use a shadow primer. One that blocks out skin color. I use Maybelline Age Rewind concealer. If you are a person of color, definitely use a light primer. Now here's the trick. DO NOT SET THE PRIMER/CONCEALER! Use the shadows straight onto the primer. Take your time and you will be rewarded. Blend slowly. A lot of people say the palette doesn't have good pigment, but it really does. You just have to jump through a few hoops with this palette. Overall, I love this palette and am thinking of purchasing a second one just in case it decides to disappear.

Read rave reviews regarding this pallette. I was indeed skeptical but said for about $10 I'll give it a try. Big mistake. The light colors have absolutely no color pay off. The fallout is horrible and the non -shimmery shades are increadibly chalky. Not at all feeling it. I'll def stick with urban decay and my other fav brand BH cosmetics for eye shadows.

I missed my chance to get this palette at first. When it was restocked, I snatched it immediately. My first concern was, would the palette be damaged by the time it reached me. Yes and no. It was starting to show signs but settled.I really enjoy this palette. It’s cute. Small. Portable. Has a range of colors to use and work with. But it does have a lot of fallout and can get messy. The colors are blendable and work well each other but you can hit the pan if not careful.Would buy again, absolutely my new favorite over Lime Crime!

I was very excited to get this palette in the mail and was not disappointed, well much. The colors are beautiful and very blendable. My only complaint is that the colors aren't super pigmented so you may have to spend an extra few minutes building the color up. I have used this palatte several times so I'm not super bothered by that issue but for people who don't spend a lot of time on their makeup it may be an issue.

This little palette is an incredible little drugstore find. For the price it does a great job and provides an interesting variety of colors to create numerous looks from natural to professional to dramatic. It includes base, crease, and color shades so you can easily use this palette on its own. They blend perfectly. The only shade that is just okay is the yellow shade, but yellows are hard and for the prices I wasn't too mad about it.

Literally NO color pay off, it’s chalky and does not blend at all! Such a waste of money, I’ve used better eyeshadow that cost $1. I didn’t even know this was suppose to have a lemon scent until I read the other comments... there’s no lemon scent, at all. Throwing it in the trash.

I was so excited to receive this product and I hyped myself out a bit. This is definitely not the worst drugstore pallet I've ever owned, but not the best. I like the shimmer shades since those are a little more pigmented, but the mattes require a bit of effort to build up the color. The golds are really pretty in this pallet.

Love this and for the price tag and number of colors; I definitely recommend. Super fun palette for summer and even other seasons and the colors are super blendable and wear a long time (please note I wear primer so I can’t say if the color would last as long on it’s on). Great buy!

I really enjoy this pallette! Love the shimmers, love the more neutral mattes. The pops of color are more of a wash of color when first applied, but i did not have any problems building up the color. (Honestly, i would rather build a shadow up to my desired color anyway.) No problems blending. All in all great.

I didn’t really care for this pallette. I loved the colors and the concept is genius. However, the formula wasn’t quite right. It didn’t blend well and the color pay off was not good. I will try it again and change up my technique. I may be doing something wrong. We will see.

Maybelline has definitely been stepping up their game, this little palette is great for some summery-vibe type of looks. My shimmers/metallic shades are by far my favorite. The pigmentation is just as good if not better than high-end eye shadows! Would recommend

I'm really glad I only paid 10.99 for this with Prime because if I had paid more I would've been pretty p!ssed off. I've only had the product a couple of weeks and I've already hit pan on the yellow shade because the pigment only exists if you add five or more layers and it still doesn't look as vibrant as the advertisements make it seem. I've only created two looks with this palette because I want my money's worth and I still feel a bit salty about it even though one of my looks (pic included) came out pretty decent but it was hard a$$ work. Call me cheap for getting mad at a $10 palette but money is freaking money. These pigments are the kind you have to work hard on to get a good look and for 10.99 I'd expect something a lot better, especially from Maybelline. I'd say skip this mess and spend your 10 bucks somewhere where you'll actually get your darn money's worth okurrrr!

This palette very faintly smells like lemon candy, it’s not overpowering or fake smelling. The only problem is it’s not the most pigmented palette in the world, but it can be built up very well.

I was expecting to like this and I honestly ended up liking it even more than I thought I would. It's not out of the gate crazy pigmented, which I actually like. You can build the colors up and they are so light and beautiful for spring and summer. It has a nice fruity smell & for such a great price. I am in love, highly recommend!

Gave these to my daughter at university and her friends. They all enjoyed the citrusy golds and fresh pinks for young fresh weekend looks. Looks good on all skin tones, dark to light.
