This is a follow up to a previous review. Here is my original write up.The item description looked good. The product reviews looked good. How could I go wrong? Unfortunately the scale did not work correctly. The weight was off by about 20-30 pounds and not even repeatable. Needless to say, I was disappointed and returned the scale. After I posted this, I was immediately contacted my the people from Innotech. The were genuinely concerned that the product didn't function properly. They sent me a new scale within a few days and it looks great and is accurate. Maybe my original experience was a fluke? However, their customer support was first rate! My new scale is working fine. I revised my rating and felt that my review needed to be reflective of the entire process.

Great scale, exactly as represented. Bought for a 90 year old gentleman in an assisted living home. He had been losing weight, which was worrisome. We can now check his weight daily (rather than once a month by the care givers). Platform is plenty large, but not too large. Read-out is large and bright. The scale arrived well packaged and in perfect condition. Very pleased with this purchase. Would definitely buy again. Thank you very much, Innotech. Good luck with your business!

This is by far the best value scale I've ever owned! I think many brand scales in the market have overpriced, and doesn't look good as well. This Innotech scale not only has a reasonable price, but also a trendy minimalist style that can easily fit in any place! Besides, the white glass really keeps neat and clean, very easy to maintain. I'm also impressed by its great quality!Quality:- Accurate and consistence. The gym I go to has a professional Omron scale, I found this this scale is very accurate every time compared to Omron one (but you pay only half of the price of Omron scale, and get nicer design, wow!)- Light weight but very sturdy. I stamp on it by accident many times, it still remains in perfect condition.- Numbers easy to read. My dad often complains his scale is hard to read and too many functions that distract him. This scale is simple but readable, I think it is friendly for elder people or pregnant women.Heads-up:I found it's most accurate if you activate it (tap on the scale and let it zero out), before you step on. If you don't do so, its result may be a little off (1 or 2 times out of 10). As long as you activate it before, you will be fine.Honestly, for the price, design and quality, I am 100% satisfied and plan to buy another one for my parents. Very happy customer!!! I can't recommend this more.

Great scale and the price is right! My scale was very, very old and my eyes are failing, lol! I recently went on a diet and I wanted an easy scale to read. Lost 6 lbs. and am lighter and happier! :) I bought the white one and it is very nice looking too.

I was on the fence about what scale to buy. After shuffling back and forth between about 4 pages I finally settled on this one. I went two different doctors offices and got weight measurements there and compared it to the scale on the same day, all three had the same number. The display is very crisp and easy to read. It even stays up for a bit after you step off the scale if you need to bend down to look at the numbers. The batteries are a little different than a lot of battery scales, using button batteries. I suggest adding some to your cart before you check out so that you don't have to track them down at the store. There is a button on the back that will change the scale from lb/kg/st. which is nifty. I don't think I've come across any scales here in the states that do stones. This scale is pretty light and easy to move. I'm glad I bought it. I could stand on my old scale five different times and get five different weights. Not so with this one.

UPDATE: about six weeks after I wrote this review I received a box in the mail. I hadn't ordered anything so wasn't sure what it was and lo and behold the seller of this scale must have seen my review and sent me a new scale. It has been in the box for months because honestly I just didn't bother with it, the bathroom where it went was under construction and I forgot about it. I pulled it out of the box last week and it is perfect. It doesn't have any of the problems that the first one has. The displayed weight is accurate and it holds so you can actually see the number. It does not fluctuate when you shift weight and it working great. So here is the thing, the scale is great for a basic scale with no bells and whistles if you get one that works properly and is calibrated properly. Not Accurate. I have had the flu for the last week, the last time I got on the scale was 4 days ago. I have not eaten since then, only fluids and some saltines. According to the scale this morning I have gained almost 7 pounds. That makes no sense got on again and lost 10 pounds. Ridiculous and that will drive me insane. I am glad it was cheap, but what is that saying about you get what you pay for. Gonna go and buy myself a nice Tanita and move on

The scale is brand new and just arrived, but so far I love it. It's easy to read the large lit numbers, the scale itself has plenty of space to stand on, it has a very nice modern and clean design which was important to me, the batteries come with the product, the instructions are super clear on how to operate it (insert batteries, place on a flat surface, push one button on the back to change from pounds to a different measurement of weight) and then step on it). So far, I am very pleased with this purchase. It also appears from other reviews that this company has great customer service. They emailed me as soon as my Amazon package was delivered with the phone number to their customer service department.

I bought this scale to replace a broken Health-o-Meter. I was not familiar with the brand but it does not disappoint. First of all, it's very heavy for a scale -- which says something about the quality. It has a streamlined appearance and HUGE display for weight. You won't find body comp or memory features here -- just weight (rounded to the nearest tenth of a pound or kilo). I noticed that the first weighing is always heavy -- not sure why -- but the second, third and subsequent weighings are accurate. This was never the case with my Health-o-Meter where if I weighed three times, I would get three different readings. One thing to be careful with is the surface of the scale has a glass-like appearance which is breakable. You should also avoid stepping on it with damp feet lest you slide right off!

This scale seems very accurate. Unlike other scales I have had, the weight is the same when I get on multiple times within one minute. It is also quite easy to seethe weight display with big numerals. I like that you can switch from pounds to kilograms. (Very handy for when my relatives from Australia come to visit!) Most impressive is that customer service contacted me immediately with an e-mail to make sure I was happy with the scale. If not, I was encouraged to call a telephone number directly, or respond to the e-mail. How often does that happen? (Almost never!!) Customer service also informed me that the scale comes with a one year warranty, and I can call or e-mail anytime with questions. I truly appreciate a company that places a high value on their customer service and strives for customer satisfaction with their products.

I purchased this scale in early March and it has been a tool that aided me in losing 25 lbs. Unfortunately last week it just went wild and sadly died.I contacted the company and told them my story and they immediately asked me to return it after my new scale arrived. I reported this last Thursday and received the replacement today.I did report that the batteries were working. Today's scale arrived without batteries. Perfect...my burble seemed to be with a calibration problem. I tired the scale and my weight seemed accurate. This is a company with good customer service. I do love their scale

EDITED REVIEW: I received an e-mail from Innotech tonight guaranteeing satisfaction. I followed their instructions and recalibrated. I had to do it a couple of times, but now the weight is more accurate and so far, seems to remain consistent. The description says "ready to go out of the box," but this wasn't true in my case.I do appreciate the outstanding customer service.I wish the scale did not "remember" my weight. I would rather see my weight to the nearest 10th every morning. I also wish it would register a weight for smaller items such as a case of cat food cans, or even my cat, but it doesn't. Not a big deal, but something to be aware of.Overall, I'm satisfied enough to keep the scale.

UPDATE: the scale has stopped giving me accurate weights. Very disappointing. I wish I could return it. PREVIOUSLY: I'm going to try changing the batteries because the scale is now giving me 5 different weights in a row and they vary considerably. I'm past the return window unfortunately. I'll let you how the battery swap works. The scale is really sleek and elegant. Easy to step on, unlike my former scale. I do tap it and zero it out before each reading just in case it's holding the previous weight measurement as some scales do.

Very thin, stable, easy to read and easy to use scale. Just step on it and the reading comes alive then shuts itself off after you've stepped off. Seems to be accurate and repeats readings. However, in the Q and A below, the Innotech rep claims it operates with two CR2032 (coin) batteries. This is not the case. It comes with 3, AAA batteries. I would have preferred... in fact the reason I bought this scale was I thought it was designed to use the CR2032 style battery, which do not leak over time. If the AAA batteries leak, it may cost you a new scale if you can't get the electrodes clean with baking soda. I will say one thing in defense of the AAA batteries that come with the scale. At least they are not the lower quality name brand batteries which tend to leak in a year's time. That is why the 4 star rating was given rather than a 3.

I'm psychotic about weighing myself. I have a full-size doctor's scale in my home and a $75 scale in my forest cabin. The problem is that they don't agree. Unacceptable. My quest for the perfect scale continued. Then I stumbled onto Innotech, a small flat bathroom scale that does weight and nothing else. It got 4.5 stars on Amazon from 1,000+ reviews and only cost $25 bucks. Amazon reviewers raved about its accuracy. I immediately ordered it.The scale arrived. Its white, thin and sleek, as if designed by Apple. It weighs a ton, which hints at a quality product. The moment of truth came. I stepped on my doctor's scale and measured my weight to the microgram. I then stepped on the Innotech. Three pounds off! Damn! Then I read the instructions which said that you have to press the scale to zero it before stepping on it. I zeroed it and stepped on it. The weight was...PERFECT. I stepped off and on two more times and each time the weight was exactly the same. Folks, this is the perfect scale. When I die and get cremated I want this scale with me.

The scale itself is ok. It fluctuates strongly so it's hard to tell exactly which number is correct (this is even after calibration). After a while you get used to this behavior and learn to just trust the first stable number you see (e.g. weight yourself once in the morning and the same time to try to get consistency.) ~~The scale was working fine for about 6 months, but recently just died. I would expect a scale to last at least a few years. Pretty disappointed it didn't last longer. I'd try another brand next time.~~Updating to 3 stars (I'd give it 3.5 stars) due to good customer support, which promptly fixed the scale.

After spending some time checking out scales on Amazon I went with this one because it was the ONLY glass scale that didn't have customer photos of shattered glass. This scale is pretty hardy and lit well for easy reading. My toddler has carried it around the house a few times without breaking.

The scale is beautiful to look at and is of very high quality. I have two of them, which gives me the opportunity to weigh myself on one and then the other. The readings agree within 0.2 lb every time, which means these scales are reliable. I had questions and contacted their support team, which was outstanding. The scale comes with two lithium ion batteries in the scale, with a plastic insulating strip that is removed when the scale is unpacked, activating the batteries. But in addition there are two EXTRA batteries for future use. The small brochure is complete and makes clear how to get support if one ever needs it. Innotech is a good company, offering a first rate scale. I couldn't be more pleased.

I've only had it for a day, but so far I like it a lot. It seems very accurate (I weighed exactly the same as on my old scale, which was very accurate but VERY fussy about where you placed it and how you stood on it). The design is fantastic - it is so smooth and flat, the base is extremely solid and steady. The display is easy to read, and positioned well. My old scale was raised up on rubber feet, and it would wobble slightly if you weren't positioned just right, and there was barely enough room for your feet (if you stood in the middle, where it was sturdiest, your toes would be on the display panel). I hope it continues to work well!

Very sleek and a nice looking scale - but not accurate or reliable. I stepped on and off several times (a minute or two in between) to test and got a range from 154.5 to 160.2. I didn't eat, drink, or hold anything different each time. Scale was on a solid tile floor, flat, not moved between each weighing.EDIT: Adding a star for customer service. I returned this to Amazon for a refund, and three months later, a free replacement scale arrived out of nowhere from the manufacturer. Still not entirely accurate, though. Still being used on a flat, non-carpet floor. The analog scale that I bought after the first return is much more consistent.
