Together with Mommy's Bliss Constipation Ease, this was a LIFESAVER! Here is some rather long background, in the hopes that it will help another parent going through a similar situation. My 5 and 1/2 year old has suffered from constipation for over a year. It's been a long, complicated battle with a huge psychological component (the longer he goes between "going", the more scared he gets and the longer he holds it and the more difficult it gets... and so on in a spiral). We put him on Miralax, on his pediatrician's advice, a year ago. First we gave him a 1/3 of what we saw on the internet as a kid-appropriate dose, every 2 to 3 days. It sort of worked for a few months, but it was never easy. Then we had to start giving it more often, like daily and finally, a month ago we went to a full dose (triple of what we started with, and then some) every day, some times twice a day. Then he went a week without going, and when he finally went, well, I don't wish this on anyone. So we had to do something different (despite our doctor telling us to just stay on Miralax and keep increasing the dose; side note, as other reviewers comment, Miralax is not studied or recommended for children or for a prolonged use, despite what pediatricians say). So I came to this and Mommy's Bliss. We now give him one Culturelle Regularity packet in the morning, mixed in some prune juice, and then one dose of Mommy's Bliss Constipation Ease after he gets home from school (2 teaspoons, on its own, followed by a glass of water because the taste is a bit yuk). On the second day of this regimen (with no Miralax - we stopped cold turkey because it stopped doing anything for us), he did #2. It was not a pleasant experience but better than the time before that. Then he went the next day. And the next. He has been going every day since we started this, and it is much easier for him to go. He's not scared anymore either. I don't know if it is Culturelle or Mommy's Bliss, or the combo of both, but we are so relieved (pun intended). I set up an Amazon subscription for both; fingers crossed they keep working.

Didn't work for my 9 year old daughter with Autism. She is chronically constipated and withholds poop for days. We tried this because it was recommended by the Autism moms I know. We gave it an honest 2 month daily run without missing a dose. But when she would go it was like sandy concrete balls/clumps/masses.

My son has been on miralax for over 4.5 years. I've tried a few times to get him off it unsuccessfully. I obviously don't want him on it full time but thought I had no choice. After a conversation with a friend about how it's probably not good for him to be on it (like I don't know that..) it got me re interested in researching some more natural methods. I started out with this brand of probiotics but the powder ones. I just didn't like keeping up with "did you finish your cup!?" And trying to remember if I gave him one that day. I bought these next and he LOVES them! Said they taste like candy and asks if he can have them. He hasn't had miralax in about 2 weeks!

My 4yr old son started holding bowel movements since he first started using the potty. He'd go DAYS holding it in. We started using this instead of miralax and not only is he regularly going but he's telling me he needs to go, no more holding it in. Worth the money!

Unfortunately I won’t be buying these again from Amazon. Some of the blister packs are broken and pills are discolored. Not the normal look of this probiotic.

I wanted to love this product but it just didn't work for my son. Instead of helping him regulate, it made him go small amounts more frequently and they were (tmi) small pebble pieces. We will stick with the normal probiotics line from this company.

I gave this to my 9-year-old and I've never seen a probiotic make someone so miserable... gave it a few days to see if it was the product or something else. Tried it myself with the same go distress results. Threw the rest of the package out.

This product is the only one that has cured my daughter's constipation. I tried everything for months and nothing worked. I give her one packet every other day mixed with juice and it keeps her regular. I started giving it daily like the instructions said to but it gave her diarrhea.

I LOVE these! I have been battling years of constipation with my four year old. The doctors kept telling me to put her on Miralax but given the questionability on the safety of Miralax I wanted to try alternate ways. The Garden of Wisdom infant probiotics worked for my daughter for about 2 months, then suddenly they stopped working even after purchasing new bottles. This Culterelle kids probiotic has made her become more regular (going atleast once a day) and has increased her appetite. I like that it is in tablet form because that means it is easy to take.I don't like that it is not refrigerated. I heard the probiotics that are refrigerated don't work as well.. but hey, they worked for my daughter.I have this on monthly reorder.
